A Few Words About Our Prints Our fine art prints are created with the best available archival papers and inks. Paper choice is largely dependent on aesthetic considerations: how the colors of a particular image look on paper. We have found both Hahnemuhle Photo Rag and Epson Premium Lustre to be outstanding choices. The Epson Premium Lustre has a slightly textured semi glossy finish – very similar to the standard wet darkroom type papers. It is the most popular paper choice. In those cases where a more subtle representation of color is called for, we use the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag which has a very soft, warm watercolor paper texture. Both papers are printed with Epson K3 Ultachrome inks. Prints sizes to 16x20 are made in our studio on an Epson 4800Pro printer. Prints larger than 16x20 are printed for us by West Coast Imaging using image files which are color corrected and proofed in our studio. Prices for our larger size prints are determined by size in addition to a wider variety of paper choices and printing technologies.
